Referendum

Under the Danish Constitution, a Bill passed by the Danish Parliament is in certain situations subject to a binding referendum. In addition, it may be decided by law to submit a particular subject to a consultative referendum. Persons who are allowed to participate in general elections also have the right to vote in a referendum.
