LAW ON ASYLUM 2003

Article 32

Recognised refugees residing in the Republic of Croatia have the right to reunion with members of their immediate family.

Members of immediate family within this Law are:

Spouse

Minor children who have not started their own families

Parents or legal guardians of minor refugees

The status of aliens stated in paragraph 2(1) and (3) would be resolved in accordance with regulations which regulate the legal status of aliens, however persons within paragraph 2(2) would follow the status of their parent or legal guardian to whom asylum has been granted.

The right to family reunification of family members within paragraph 2(1) would be approved only when the marriage was entered into before coming to the Republic of Croatia.
