LAW ON ALIENS 2003

Article 47

Permanent settlement will be given to the alien who:

On the date of applying has an unbroken 5 years temporary stay,

Has been married for 3 years to a Croatian citizen or an alien with approved permanent settlement, and has approved temporary stay.

Exceptionally permanent settlement could be approved to other aliens on temporary stay because of humanitarian reasons or if it would be in the interests of the Republic of Croatia.
