SEPARATE QUESTIONS ON LEGAL REGULATION
OF THE FOREIGN CITIZENS STAY IN THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN
For the purpose of regulation of the order of foreign citizens’ stay on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan decrees:
1. To approve the enclosed Regulations of entry and stay of foreign citizens in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as their departure from the Republic of Kazakhstan (further referred as Rules).
2. To Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Migration and Demography in concordance with the Committee of National Security of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the order, established by the legislation by the due date August 1, 2000:
1) to introduce the proposals to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on bringing the earlier adopted decrees in accordance with the present regulation;
2) to provide elaboration, co-ordination and registration of normative legislative acts in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the aim of realization of the provisions of the Rules, approved by the present regulation. (edited on 27.06.2000)
3) to the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan provide the assistance in the realization of the paragraph 2 of the present agreement.
3. Acknowledge the loss of the effect of:
1) Regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the March 10, 1993 N 186 “ Rules of Foreign Citizens stay in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, (SAPP of the Republic of Kazakshtan, 1993, N 7, p. 87);
2) Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the December 30, 1998 N 1367 “ On introduction of changes and additions to the Regulation of Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the March 10, 1993, N 186” (SAPP of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 1998, N 50, p. 465)
4. The present regulation comes into force upon the expiration of one month from the date of its publication.
